Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Pittsburgh peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This pizza is hands down the best pizza in the Southside. Both guys working were very polite. The service was fast and efficient. The pizza was delicious, crispy and perfectly balanced.

My guest and I made the trip over to Benny Fierroβs a little after midnight after hearing good things about it, and the place was absolutely packed. The line was long, and most of the crowd looked like college students, which gave the shop a lively late-night energy. Inside, it has that straightforward neighborhood pizza shop feel with booth seating, exposed brick walls, colorful wall art, hanging lights, drink coolers, and stacks of pizza boxes that let you know they stay busy. The first thing that really stood out was the size of the pizza slices. They were huge. Seeing them up close was a surprise by itself. I was told Benny Fierroβs serves the largest single-slice pizza in Pittsburgh, and based on what I saw, I can believe it. The pizza was hot, fresh out of the oven, and delicious from the first bite. The flavor was on point, and the oversized slice definitely felt worth the wait. I also found it wild that a whole pie, looking almost like the size of a car tire, was only $42. Service moved as well as could be expected with that kind of crowd and line. It was busy, but the staff kept the orders moving and stayed focused in a fast-paced environment. Atmosphere-wise, this is n

Benny Fierro's is one of the best spots to grab some pizza in Pittsburgh. Located along East Carson Street Benny Fierro's is a popular spot and could get crowded at times. My son and I stopped here to try out their pizza and it did not disappoint. The slices are huge! When I say huge I mean it takes two plates to hold one slice! The pizza was very good as well. The dough was nice and crispy. I got a slice of the italian sausage pizza because the sausage they use for the pizza is unlike any other pizza I've seen. They use thin slices of italian sausage on their pizza and it was delicious. We will definitely be back soon!

Ordered 2 ''whole pies'' though they were as big round as 4 regular large pizzas put together, they were = to 1. They took the dough, pepperoni, sauce and cheese from a normal large and took a rolling pin to it until it was as thin as paper then charged 2x as much for it. 1 of these ''giant'' pizzas won't feed 2 grown men! For $80 I definitely got ripped off. Carrying 2 of these out the door i was wondering if they gave me empty boxes. Very disappointed. I hear their reg slices are great. Must be different pizza.
